78th UN General Assembly SDG Investment Forum
The UN Global Compact CFO Coalition for the SDGs, PRI and UNEP FI will host an SDG Investment Forum during the UN 78th General Assembly and will bring together high-level representatives from companies, banks and financial institutions and international organizations, including CFOs, CIOs and other Executives from the CFO Coalition for the SDGs, PRI, and UNEP FI.
This in-person meeting is an opportunity to exchange views on how corporate investments and finance can best contribute to the Agenda 2030. Taking a sectoral approach, the group will discuss the strategic relevance of SDG-aligned corporate investments and the materiality, credibility and ambitiousness of SDG targets in relation to SDG-linked financial products.
In addition to the keynote presentation and panels, a workshop on sustainable finance will be included to receive feedback on the first findings gathered by the CFO Coalition in the climate-related workstreams on investments and financing.
The meeting will take place during the United Nation’s 78th General Assembly following the UN Private Sector Forum and the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit, meetings that will convene corporate executives, finance Chiefs and Heads of State to mobilize the private sector's response to the delay in capital deployment towards the Agenda 2030
