The UN Global Compact Ocean Stewardship Coalition convenes leading companies, governments, NGOs, academic institutions, and United Nations partners to mobilize action for the ocean to deliver on the SDGs and the Paris Agreement. All Global Compact Participants are invited to join the Coalition and commit to a healthy and productive ocean by signing on the Sustainable Ocean Principles.  Ocean sustainability is rising on the global agenda as more and more business and government leaders recognize the vital importance of the ocean in supporting sustainable development and achieving a net-zero future. The UN Ocean Conference is taking place later this June in Lisbon, and the Coalition will bring the strong voice of the private sector to the proceedings.
