UN Global Compact
10th Briefing on Regulatory Trends in the European Union and at the International Level
The regulatory frameworks governing corporate actions in the context of sustainability and corporate responsibility issues are rapidly evolving. After a long period mainly shaped by industry self-regulation, companies now face comprehensive expectations, detailed both in soft law standards and – increasingly – hard law. Examples include the ongoing revision of the EU’s Non-financial Reporting Directive, the upcoming EU Directive on Corporate Due Diligence and Corporate Accountability, and the new Task Force for Nature-related Financial Disclosures.
The Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein has formed a collaboration with ECOFACT AG and other Global Compact Local Networks to support its members in responding to regulatory change related to sustainability and corporate responsibility.
UN Global Compact members will have access to quarterly webinars in which they will be briefed on recent regulatory developments. This will provide information on the actions that are expected from them today, and in the near future.
Join us for the next quarterly briefing call in which we will update you on what to expect from the European Union and from international standard setters.
